The first volume for Ravensburger is delivered and ready since yesterday morning from the publisher. Meanwhile, I can speak for a lot of secrecy and pure conscience of a SF trilogy, for the publisher itself suggested that the action move much further ahead than I had originally planned. Time Slip makes various developments and opportunities for the reader a logical and of course gives me a lot more creative freedom. A few numbers: The events of the novels about the year 2130th Volume 1 includes nearly 500 manuscript pages (700,000 characters), making it a little slimmer than lay LORD GAMMA (Lübbe-version), the manuscript of the time were around 550 pages. Since this is a trilogy, as I said, probably the whole story at the end come to a good 1500 pages - although I would not exclude that it could even be four parts. Of Volume 2 there are already nearly 80 pages. Planned release date for Volume 1 is January 2008. Because as with most key titles usual before a reading copy is printed, I should think about a first hardcover in November in his hands. Whether they even appear at the Frankfurt Book Fair, I can not tell. Possibly.
also completed and delivered these days, I have a relatively short SF story for Readers Digest, which is located in the same universe as the youth novels and a few months before the action takes place there (ie around the year 2129 ... ;-) ) The characters that appear in it, but not before the reader meets again in Band 3.
And because it's so "beautiful" was and got the idea for the right time, I have also been the 30-page prologue written for Volume 3. And now I put my brain into a rocket and shoot it on vacation to Proxima Centauri.
